Unfortunately, prayer today is often spiritually sloppy, casual, and unproductive. The Lord invites us to come before His throne, a throne of grace. He delights in the prayer of the righteous. We must believe that things will happen because of prayer that would not happen without. We do not know what the Lord might be willing to do, if we seek Him humbly, faithfully and biblically. “Before the Throne of Grace” was written to guide us to pray in harmony with what the Bible teaches about prayer, and to enlarge our vision of what our God might be willing to do, if we ask.
